IBC understands the importance of advanced research and development in the performance and capabilities of small surface craft. The unmanned surface vessel (USV) market has been one area of primary focus by our company for more than eight years.
In 2008 AAI Corporation partnered with IBC to develop the AAI High Speed Unmanned Surface Vessel (HSUSV). This vessel is a 27′ Nightcat modified by AAI and IBC for both manned and unmanned operation. Following specifications provided by AAI, IBC reconfigured various system components, made multiple fiberglass modifications and installed custom project specific systems at our facility in Pembroke, MA. Our experienced operators were on site in Florida for the initial sea trials and testing.
Our company continues to work with major military contractors on the advancement of multi-function USV’s.
